We are looking for people who want steady work close to home, not a job that has them living out of a truck three counties away. If you run equipment, fit pipe, or have worked around fuel systems, we would like to hear from you.
What It Is Like Working Here
We are a small outfit and people tend to stay. Several of our supervisors have been here more than thirteen years, which is unusual in this trade and is the honest reason we can promise a schedule and keep it.
Work is year-round and it is local. Our jobs are in the Sacramento Valley and the north state, so most of the time you are home at night. You will be on service stations (grading, utilities, tank work, fuel systems), which means you learn a specialized trade that not many contractors can do at all.
The owner is on the jobs. If something is wrong you can say so to the person who can fix it.
The Kind of People We Hire
- Equipment operators: excavators, loaders, compaction.
- Laborers: willing to learn the fuel side; we will train the right person.
- Pipefitters: product piping, containment, underground utilities.
- Foremen and supervisors: people who can run a crew and talk to an inspector.
- Truck drivers: CDL, moving equipment and materials between sites.
Certifications like HAZWOPER, a CDL or ICC tank testing credentials are worth telling us about, and worth money to you. Not having them is not a barrier if you have the experience and are willing to get them.
No listings up right now? Send the form anyway. This trade turns over on short notice, and when someone gives notice the first place we look is the people who already put their hand up. Applications stay on file.
Apply
Takes about a minute. A resume helps but is not required. If you are reading this on your phone at a jobsite, just fill in the rest and we will call you.
